Can you honestly say you were suprised? It's the Cubs. They do this. You gonna be at Homecoming?

Not this year, sadly. I think we'll come fairly regularly once Sue is done with law school, but I travel so much as it is now, it's not really in the cards this year. Possibly next, but '09 is more likely.

We will, however, be in Chicago all next summer, God willing. :-D

I mean, they did have the worst record of any playoff team this year, and they had a losing record outside of the NL Central. But yeah, I thought Arizona's offense was light enough that the Cubs had a chance to win this series, or at least one game.

But you've got like three good years from Soriano yet, the pitching will get better with age, and everyone in your division but Milwaukee completely sucks. The Cubs will be contenders for a while.

Interesting. Not incredibly surprising, either. All of the "operators", at least at Russian universities, are very big into Linux, even more than here in the US. And as MSFT wins over more international trade orgs and is able to crack down more on piracy, it's getting unsustainable for most countries to just pirate their software.
