Of my public debut of sorts

I gave a fiction reading on campus last night. It seemed to go down pretty well. I read "Last Known," a story from my thesis. It's a comedy, and it got a good many laughs. My parents and Elizabeth were able to come; they enjoyed it, so that was nice. Several of the other speakers, including some of our faculty authors, complemented my story

Good job with the reading. I haven't read any of your stuff in a while, but I recall the last two stories you sent were very good.

Too bad about Mr. Steele. Now I wish I had seen them in 2007.
