This was really nice. I liked the way Bill reacted to Kara's comment concerning Zak and being a pilot, and then how he apologized for taking his frustration with Lee out on her. Good job.

"What I'm saying, Kara, is come fly Vipers for me." <3 <3 <3

I love that line, and that moment. Papadama deciding to take in the lost Starbuck. This was a really moving short story, capturing so much of Kara's losses, and in a brief moment, encapsulating Bill's pain caused by his family's alienation. Nice to end on the positive that grows out of this horrible time for the two of them. Well done!

This is a lovely little scene between the two of them (back when I still liked him!). Very believable. I especially liked what Kara said about her mother belonging in the cemetery, unlike Zak. Well done.

Thank you for this nice moment. I love moments like these that cement the Bill and Starbuck bond, outside vipers. Thank you for posting.
