Hitch-22

I'm getting a great deal of pleasure out of hearing Christopher Hitchens reading his memoir "Hitch-22", which serves as a consolation over the latest episode of Supernatural (which I had to stop watching 15 minutes in, partly because I was too tired from other tv watching, partly because of the bad jokes) and what seems a sharp turn for the soap ( Read more... )

I just started Fringe.

I am enjoying it so far, and have been told it gets even better.

I am slightly spoiled but, hey, what's new? I know 25% of the basics for SGA and I haven't ( this will make you sad...) completed watching SGA. I am liking it alot this time around, I think it was my mood or something when I started watching it a few years ago.

I am also watching The Wire, which is outrageously disturbing and good and amazing...

Also will be starting to watch Jeremiah soon...

The only thing is, keeping up with all these TV shows have cut down on time to watch movies as well.

Fringe I believe get better after the first 5-10 episodes of S1 and S2 was a lot of fun. But no, my love for SGA never blinded me to its faults. I completely get why you might not have in the mood for it in the past. It's quite a fluffy show. Nothing close to something like The Wire, which has to be as good as it gets for TV.

As for Jeremiah, I tried to watch it sometime ago but never felt the hook. Hope you enjoy it!
