That was a good example of going in to a movie with low expectations and coming out thinking it wasn't bad. That's the best I can say about this movie, eventhough for a while last year I was hopeful it would be good or even very good. But nah, it's too long and the dialog is predictable. I saw the trailer and was all "Meh". I may see it on DVD later, but nothing in the trailer enticed me.

You're not missing much, sad to say. Considering the director and the supporting cast this could have been a lot more.

I have to agree, though I did enjoy it. I suppose that it suffered because I kept thinking of Firefly and wanting Whedon-style dialog. But yes, Craig didn't disappoint. And was it my imagination or did the camera consistently seek out his lovely bum? Because I feel I saw a lot of it - and that's not a complaint.

The cut of his clothes did manage for display all assets to their best advantage, methinks :D

It was missing more of a sense of fun and dialog worthy of the actors, Sam Rockwell specially. So yes, Whedon coming in to punch up things at least would have helped.
