I once met a guy who tried out to be a guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the early 90s. He didn't make it, but it was cool knowing that he even had a chance.

I think your voice is pretty damn incredible and from what I remember its honestly better than what I've heard from some of the contestants on that show.

I say they're lucky if you deem it worth your time to audition.

You will have marvelous stories to tell! That's worth doing it in and of itself.
