It's happened again - the only wedding I'm going too this year (so far) has been re-scheduled over my LoJ weekend, and is being held in another state. (I try to tell people to never hold events on the second weekend of July, but it does no good ( Read more... )

Just tell them you regret to inform them, but you have very expensive plans for that weekend that you've already paid for that can't be called off. ^_^

Besides, with the 50% divorce rate, there's a good chance you'll get to see both of those people married again later!

Okay but seriously, that's really sad. :( But you should totally just not go to the wedding. We can stage a fake wedding for you backstage so you can feel like you went to it! :D

I feel the same. I live 30 minutes away over the freeway and I had to cancel Masquerade plan at the last minute. It's really ironic the closest I got to the Maquerade one year, my plan was scrapped by the fact that, the entire weekend I was working across the way from the movie theater.
