I suppose this journal should be a fairly accurate protrayal of what's going on with me at the moment, but unless you all are just dying for diatribes on English Royal Governmental Reform in the 12th Century or, this week, the inconsistencies of foreign descriptions of James IV of Scotlan's court, JUST FUCKING TAKE WHAT YOU GET! Besides, what's more exciting than a Joss Whedon film?

I personally enjoyed the trailer, but I don't know how many people they're going to convince playing the whole "TV show you didn't watch but should have" angle.

I think they should just promote it like any other movie; don't mention Buffy, only briefly mention Firefly.

Yeah, it's a bit of a strange one really. It's difficult to just ask people to come see a film with no credentials and one that, frankly, I don't see having mass appeal. But then again, I'm always a bit shocked when anything sci-fi (other than huge blockbusters, although I was dead shocked that I, Robot did so well) performs past 80 million.

Needless to say, I'm chuffed.
