I'm happy that the 80's have seen something of a return to coolness, musically, anyway (Excepting the Killers, Kasabian, etc...). I was listening to a podcast earlier today, however, and it was about legends of the guitar from the 60's and 70's attempting to acclimate themselves to the synth-sheen demands of the 80's market. If you mean "Look of Love" and "They Don't Know", then of course you shouldn't be ashamed! they're pop perfection! If you mean the Dylan and the Reed, then we've got problems...

"Look of Love" and "They don't know" of course. I have them both on 45s somewhere. They're all scratched, but still fantastic to listen to.
