I have to say, there have been some good albums this year so far. Of course LCD Soundsystem, although it's not perfeclyt solid. Sons and Daughters latest effort is good, although I can't say I've clicked with it yet. I bought Simon Reynolds' book "Rip it Up and Start Again: Postpunk 1978-1984" today. My knowledge of this period mostly comes from Tony, ramdon readings online based on musical taste, and the scraps that are mentioned towards the end of the punk books I have read.
