well, I thought about this too. I wondered if Dumbledore just plays know-it-all or he knew. I believed (but I am a trusting nutter) that Snape had told Dumbledore. Actually I thought about why Dumbledore was so show-off before Dursleys. And I thought if it could have been because he already suspected he could not be here the next summer?

That's true! Why would he request the Dursley's permission for Harry to return a whole year from then, instead of when the time came? maybe he suspected he may not make it through the year...

My mom brought up an interesting point as well, she was wondering if Dumbledore (near the end of the book) was begging Snape to help him or kill him. After all if you noticed Harry really seemed to need that extra push to help him get going with the whole Voldemort thing. :3

Yes, I've considered that too! The "please Severus" thing could mean so many things. And how Dumbledore paralyzed Harry. No doubt to protect Harry from harm, but-and this is really far-fetched- so that Harry wouldn't interfere if Snape had to kill him?

I agree with that statement though! I think he knew he was going to die for the sake of Harry completeing his task! @.@ CRAZAY!
