Was intending to go downtown today with my mom to look for mother-of-the-groom dresses for my brother's wedding, but woke up this morning at my parents' house to the phone ringing off the hook and all kinds of crazy on the tv; one officer dead, one more injured, massive shoot out with explosions, manhunt underway--all before I'd even managed to put

*laugh* How true! Though I don't think I knew gooseberries (geeseberries?) had hair.

Gooseberries. And they have little spiky almost hairs on when you pick them.

I figured, I was being goofy--yesterday I was a little punchy. As you've surely heard by now, though, they caught the guy, and we are all breathing easier this morning (some of us quite literally, stress manifests itself in my chest cavity).
