But isn't this act (I am just trying to throw the moneylenders and the hypocrites and the homophobes out of the temple) the same thing as what they are doing to you?

I am not Christian, nor have I ever been. Nor have I ever claimed to be, in all honesty. A woman that I used to work with a few years ago once asked me, point-blank, what my faith was. So I told her. Her immediate response? "You know you're going to Hell, don't you?" Good gods, but people like that irritate me.
More recently, I've been asked by some patrons of the cafe I work in whether or not I go to church. I told them yes, because it's true - but my definition of church isn't their definition of church. To them, it's a place with a preacher and possibly a lot of crosses. To me, much of life is a church... and has more to teach than any one person can.
Anyway, I ramble. And as a side note, I really like your icon.
