So.....
Well, for those who follow it, the ending of xxxHoLIC killed me. So I decided to, well, go easy on CLAMP for a while. Not read their new series
However, now, it's been a while. I managed to revisit HoLIC, and while I'm not overly happy with the end, I'm not in depression either.

Characters!
So we start the story out with our Protagonist. Who loves Kyoto. Really.
Takamoto Chikahito. He's flail-y, like Watanuki was. He actually reminds me of Hideki, from Chobits, minus the love-for-porn-magazines. (It might just not be revealed yet.)
We are introduced to Hana, and Sakura and Tachibana, all who clearly have special powers of some kind. What I've gathered so far
Hana Appears to be female and probably the protagonist-love-interest. Quite strong, not entirely human, loves Soba. She also seems to like Takamoto, because she places a spell on him so that he will return to her side.
Sakura Has powers that relate to him being "Yin" (He can fight "Yang"). Yeah, I don't really understand how that works either. He's also quita manly in appearance. But he also seems quite easy going, and a pretty nice guy. Think "Sorata' from X.
Tachibana My new fave can I have him to hug and admire? Also has powers relating to him being "Yang". (The masculine force, Yin is feminine. Tachibana is a total Bishonen though, he reminds me of Subaru in X.) Tachibana isn't as laid-back as Sakura - indeed he worries more and gets annoyed far easier. He does like Hana though, and looks after her, telling her things like "Make sure you chew well, even if they're noodles".
It would appear that Tachibana and Sakura are like Hana's Guardians (parents.)
While only 2 chapters of Gate 7 are currently available, the series looks promising. Fantasy, Action, A little romance, and an absolutely brilliant beautiful artstyle. The art seems to combine CLAMP's "Noodle" bodies with the eyes and facial features of X. Incredibly beautiful art.
I recommend you check this series out! Especially if your a CLAMP fan! It gets a good rating from me. :)
My first attempt an a review, which ended up me spazzing as I read the chapter.
Gate 7 has definitely got good artstyle. It's like, a combination of CLAMP's, er, "Noodle" style and their old style (seen in X, Angelic Layer, Cardcaptors.) The body is the same, but the FACE. THOSE EYES. I have missed those eyes. (Ok and the hair's better to.)
For those who don't know, I am a complete, utter fujoshi. Yaoi, BL, Shonen-ai, call it what you like I live off it.
But in Gate 7 there's is a "thing". I can't tell if it's a boy or a girl. I'm going for "Girl" right now. Oh man he's (the main male I guess) so obviously thinking that Hana (the girl/thing) is adorable. Which she is.
But that's not important! There are two hot guys! I'm pretty sure they are guys and they look good~ Ok one's hot. The other is.... idk, I don't really find him that hot all the time. But the other guy is AMAZING. UNF. His name is Tachibana.
A Kiss A Kiss in a CLAMP work. Not that that hasn't happened before. :P (Chobits anyone?)
Any way, more ranting on Tachibana. He's like Subaru. He looks a little like Subaru. Also, He wears skiviies. (Terrible evidence I know.)

Yang, by contrast, is fast, hard, solid, focused, hot, dry, and aggressive; and is associated with fire, sky, the sun, masculinity and daytime.
An amusing thing - Sakura, who is a manly looking man (I'm going to assume) is YIN. While Tachibana (Subaru looking softy) is Yang.
(Another thing to note, it's too early to be Shipping but, Yin and Yang have to be together. One cannot exist without the other.)
