Ahhh... sleep-ins.

After a month of having two ten-day weeks, sleep-ins feels like heaven. Also managed to slip in a movie marathon before going back into end-of-financial-year madness at work, providing data for audits left and right on top of the job I'm hired for. Moving right along...

I'm back to watching movies lately, started from watching Star Trek, X-Men:

I found P.S. I Love yout to be over-the-top-tacky. Especially the how they met part, and the awfully gross and unhealthy relationship they had in the begining - which just spoke volumes about how immature and undeveloped they were as indivudals and as a couple.

I just couldn't get into it. :/

I have to admit until the movie got into the story of how they met I thought Gerry is one creepy control freak because the mom is right, the more he does it, the harder it would be for Holly to move on.

They are an immature couple though, their age when they met was mentioned many times as the reason their parents disapprove. They were never supposed to be a 'mature' couple, Holly was only starting to mature after Gerry died. Holly is very dependant to Gerry, that was pretty obvious. Through his messages, Gerry slowly showed 'the world outside your apartment' and reminded her of her dreams before her dreams turn into their dreams of home and family that would no longer be realized
