Have you told him kind of what you posted? Maybe something along the lines of that you never really did before, but you are willing to try... it might just take some time to do so. Tell him you are willing to work hard to be more open with him. That is what I would do just based off this post. Good luck with things.

I think I totally get what you're talking about.

The whole 'just shut up and listen, no one cares about the things you have to say anyway' thing is hard to deal with.

I was told this all my life and when there suddenly were people who actually wanted me to talk, to tell them about me and my feelings and actually asked for my opinion I just couldn't talk.

It's still hard for me to stop this voice in my head from telling me no one wants to hear anyway.

I hope you will get over this, it's hard but I hope you will be able. You won't lose him <3

I really don't think you'll lose him hun. Branon hardly ever talks about his feelings. He thinks I should know how he feels by his words and how he says things. Honestly I am now able to figure it out and when he does talk about his feelings, it's that much more special. Tell Kris that you have trouble but that you will try. If you lose him over this, then he's not as great as you think he is =/

i don't know the whole situation.
but i know being closed up is hard in a relationship.
an honest and open (in the sense of talking with each other openly) relationship is most healthy, i find.
