As an addendum to The Good: NaNoWriMo is also coming along well.  My story has become very dark and eerie, and has taken a turn I didn't anticipate (nor prepare for), but that's part of the charm of NaNoWriMo.  I've noticed an improvement in my writing over the stories from the last few years, though.  We'll see how I feel Wednesday, when I cross

I'm trying to as well, but I'm rather behind at this point (only 10550 as of last night).

Keep at it! You can do it! Remember, the point is to force yourself to sit down and write. The less of a writing mood you're in, the better it will go. Trust me.
