Road Trip!

Its time again for the annual Thanksgiving Greta Garbo "I vant to be alone" Lone Wolf Road Trip. The weather has made mincemeat of my plans to hit Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly and possibly Chaco Canyon. Kitten is just not made for snow driving (and I'd have had to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle in Gallup just to get to Chaco

Congrats on the girl - it's good to be head over heels now and again.

But the being patient during it - that can be downright excruciating. I am currently being patient. You know, bouncing off the walls, fidgeting, pacing. Nothing holds my attention. I watched a movie yesterday and the 2 hours felt like forever - I couldn't lose myself enough in the story to distract me from "being patient". Luckily this morning I had 4 good hours of sewing, but I think my brain is just *DONE* with that now, thank you very much!

I love being infatuated, but it can be hell on the nerves. I wish you all the best on dealing with it!
