Not leprosy!
So nobody worries, I figured out the cause of the weird scratch: sure enough, the necklace did it. Most of my pendants are on knotted cord, but one of the heavier ones turns out to be on a cord with a metal clasp. It probably rubbed back and forth all day to dramatically disfigure me. -_-; So now I know to only wear that one with turtleneck tops. ( Read more... ) -
Missing files. Annoying.
I appear to have lost the 'Huffy' codec-y thing when my old computer died. I still have Virtual Dub Mod, though.
Any idea where I can find the Huffy again? Are there any other essential codec-y things I need to have to play at vidding? I forget where I put the notes Andraste gave me from last time I tried. ^_^; -
Tough call.
So, my lovely laptop packed up and died just before Christmas. The video card turned out to have a Known Issue which took the whole damn motherboard down with it when it died. It was still under warranty, which I guess was good. So laptop went to the shop, and I've been using a very elderly substitute ever since ( Read more... ) -
Christmas lights
Late-night shopping. Driving home, at the top of a hill, glanced in the rear-view mirror. The road sloped away into a triangle behind me, like a dark Christmas tree filled up with coloured lights.
I have one present left to get. -

Even when I *clean* my house I still can't escape.
How the hell did a full-grown European wasp get into my living room this evening without me noticing? Surely my flat can't have cracks that large?!

Professor Layton's bloody stupid slidey puzzle.
I beat the last puzzle! I'm not sure how, because I was on the train at the time and playing it like it was tetris, mindlessly moving bits around. But I got it out! I was all o_O. Professor, I think I've got it - wait, what, I *have* got it?! OMG!
I have half-done nailpolish and I need to do the dishes. Problematic. -

Huzzah!~ I finally have the missing two discs of Saiyuki from the first box set. Even if they're region one (and not quite as pretty as the region four versions) and don't quite match the rest of the set. They play, have the Japanese voices with passable subtitles, and FIT IN THE BOX! Yay! Also, FBI warning amuses me. ^_^ Never again am I buying ( Read more... ) -
