I had lunch with Dr. Barnett a while ago, and this is what she told me.

Towards the end of the year, Coronado disappeared. No one knew what happened or anything--she just took medical leave and never came back. Over the summer, Coronado officially resigned (since she was on medical leave, the HGM couldn't hire someone new) but I got the impression that she didn't actually resign in person.

Anyway, they hired the college counselor lady from El Camino.

Since Marciano left my year, we had to redo the interviews with Marciano. I'm pretty sure the new lady will do the same. It's really not that bad.
