Some dramatic wind would have been nice. This was the sort of scene where you just needed to have your long coat billowing out behind you and such. Oh well.

Unfortunately Fortuna wasn't really given to dramatic win. Just as well, or Agnus's hair would have been flapping about all over the place. Incredibly inconvenient. He glared at her, the monocle glinting.
"Ready when you are, my dear." He was all set - all he needed to know now was just how powerful she was.

She didn't wait for him to make the first move, but threw her first set of knives at him. It didn't matter if they missed- she always had more.

He clicked his fingers and five small portals appeared round him. Fireballs suddenly shot out of each of them, cast by the basilisks hiding away inside. Always a good little trick.
