This came about since people were constantly editing their additional notes in the previous post.

SO.

HERE'S A CHARACTER HOMEWORK.

For those of you who haven't been around for character homework, it's basically a list of questions meant to help you flesh out your character. And since we're doing such a big to-do for the Harry Potter Week - in which we're basically creating new stories for our characters - I thought this would be especially helpful.

But yes, this is completely optional! Just have fun with it!

1. What’s your character’s wand core?


2. How did your character’s sorting ceremony go?


3. Strongest subject? Weakest subject?


4. Does your character have a familiar? How did they get them?


5. Are they a pureblood? Halfblood? Muggleborn? Any interesting stories behind that?


6. Would your character ever be tempted to be a deatheater?


7. What are your character’s thoughts on Quidditch? Are they on the team?


8. What’s your character’s favourite spell?


9. What’s your character’s favourite candy? Favourite Bertie Bott’s flavour?


10. Does your character care about house rivalries?


11. When your character is faced with a boggart, what would it change into (i.e. their worse fear)? What would be their Patronus?


12. If your character met Harry Freaking Potter, what would they do?


13. What part of Hogwarts does your character spend the most time in?


14. Can your character see Thestrals?


15. What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?


16. What’s your character’s detention record?


17. Has your character ever done something to lose points for their house? What was the largest amount of points that they lost and how did they lose them?


18. If your character became an Animagus, what animal would they turn into?


19. What do you think your character’s future career in the Wizarding World would be?
