Just some things about some of Choline's abilities, and a bit more about her world and who she's working for.
Miscellany
Choline is a 123-year old High Elf. She's the equivalent (physically and, to an extent, mentally) of a human twentysomething.
Classes
Choline is a multiclass Dungeons and Dragons character. She is a Rogue/Shadowdancer/Cloaked Dancer. By virtue of these things, she is adept at hiding, moving without being seen, manipulating shadows, and, paradoxically, creating diversions.
The Shadows
At present, Choline is a fourth-level Shadowdancer. The abilities she has include Summon Shadow, Shadow Jump (20ft), Shadow Illusion, and Hide in Plain Sight.
Beguiling Dance
The Enchanting Dance is the signature move of the Cloaked Dancer. Choline's preferred variant is the Beguiling Dance. In the context of Dungeons and Dragons combat, should anyone in a 30ft radius fail a DC 14 roll, they are dazed for one round. In the context of LJ-RP, what this means to your characters - if you're watching her - is that she looks good. Maybe good enough for you to plant your feet and ogle. The D&D handbooks don't mention exactly what the dance looks like, so I'm using Egyptian Belly Dance as a basis. However, she has been trained in a style of dance that is very similar to modern/contemporary dance, which explains her physique and flexibility. There's also a limit as to how many times a day the dance can be performed, which has been nixed for LJ-RP.
Scorpio
The Scorpio are a widespread mercenary network that extends throughout Choline's world. The entire organization operates clandestinely, and knowledge about their logistics is unknown. Rumour has it that all members of the Scorpio communicate via psionic abilities; that is to say, they are all telepathically linked, but only to each other. Scorpio members do not typically announce their affiliation; in fact, it is a typical situation when there are many members all in the same town operating independent of one another without any awareness that they are not alone. This curious fact, coupled with the apparent reality that Scorpio never seems to double-book itself, has led many conspiracy theorists to favour the idea of a psionically-organized group.
The Scorpio are hired to do many jobs for many people: theft, espionage, assassination, subterfuge, and so forth. Choline has generalized training in all these disciplines, but her area of expertise is espionage. To put it simply, she is a spy.
The Scorpio Brand
Twin tattoos usually placed on the inner wrist of higher eschelon Scorpio members. They are usually kept concealed. In situations where Scorpio members may need to identify themselves to one another, these tattoos are revealed as a mark of deference and trust. Choline has had these marks for many years.
