Ok, good. Someone else finds these names odd as well and I'm not alone!

Maybe they are Eskimo names since her husband is?

I kind of doubt it, though it's possible. Bristol is the name of a city in the UK. Trig...maybe that's a corruption of something Eskimo. Surely they didn't name their child after a math class.

Bristol (http://www.bristolmotorspeedway.com/) is also a motor car racetrack in the NASCAR circuit. Please tell me Bristol and Track are not twins. I know the last election hinged on "NASCAR dads" but this level of pandering is a little scary. :)

Nope, not twins. Track is a 19-year-old boy (man) and Bristol is a 17 (I think) year-old girl.

I think I'm downgrading Track to Questionable.

It is kind of strange and untraceable. I guess I've never heard an Idahoan accent before. It doesn't *bug* me, personally, but I do notice it. I heard a news analyst somewhere say that her voice is a problem, though, so you're apparently not alone.

Speaking of news analyst, apparently one of her dreams as a young was to be an anchor on ESPN...whose HQ is located in, wait for it...Bristol, CT.

Maybe that's where the name comes from?
