Okay, something cheerier

We had a linguistics-themed Halloween party on Sunday. (Yes, neeerrrrrrd.) I wore patterned clothing and attached root vegetables to myself to be root and pattern morphology. (It's actually a way cooler phenomenon than that link would indicate; I just can't find a better link.)
We carved pumpkins. Mine has a Wug on one side and says "Wug."
