lol, I can't believe that they only spoke on the phone for an hour! And I'm really curious as to what they had to say to each other (and all the other sappy things). You should make another fic with just their phone convos, lol.

Also, when Blaine mentioned they weren't allowed phones during Christmas DINNER, did he really mean dinner or he just made a mistake that it was supposed to be lunch? Or maybe they just call it dinner there lol.

in my head i could see the Andersons referring to the lunch meal on Christmas day being "Christmas Dinner"... so it was a conscious choice.

And sorry but there won't be any companion to this - I kinda like the idea that we're only seeing the story through this lense... like historians or something haha
