I'm really enjoying this fic and the way you've written Kurt so far. For all that Burt (and Rachel) have told Kurt that he's special, none of that manifests in him ever winning anything substantial, he's still being laughed off the stage or ending up as Officer Krupke or swaying in the background of ND numbers (or a couple of lines because Rachel's not in the group). I feel so much sympathy for him here and even though I know there will be emotional fallout, of course, I hope he doesn't get proved wrong for wanting something for himself instead of playing second fiddle to Rachel or Blaine. I like your Blaine, who's trying hard and loves his boyfriend, but has a bit of a blind spot about this just because it has been relatively easy for him. It's not his fault obviously, but he just gets the lead no matter what group he's in, Finn misbehaved because he was jealous and he just doesn't have to fight for recognition of his talent tooth and nail like Kurt always does. I'm really looking forward to more.
