This is so fantastic and beautifully written and simply awesome! I loved how you've incorporated the other characters into the search (though I'm kinda wondering who was left in charge of Puck and the garage), and the ending, so perfect!

Thank you for the lovely comment - and for the compliment on my writing!

The ending was the premise for the whole fic actually, it was written to get that point.

And LOL about the guy in charge of Puck at the garage - the reason Blaine doesn't catch his name is because I couldn't think of anyone from the canon!verse I thought would be there...

I love fics with WW II as a backdrop. Thoroughly enjoyed this fic and wanted more.

WWII is a fun time to be writing in - so much was going on and so much can be used to tell a greater story. Historical trauma is a great vessel for more personal stories.

Does this mean, then, that more will be forthcoming? Please?

oh no I've raised expectations!!

I'm sorry but it's unlikely.

Not because I don't want to, but because my RL is crazy packed to the point that I have *scheduled* fic-writing for LATE-APRIL - it's that stupid. Also, I feel obliged to finish my WIP (which, sadly, is not WWII era).

Never say never though, for if the muse strikes, I will answer ;)
