And I'm so glad you got where my head canons was at. It just seems so obvious to me that Kurt's perceived issues with sex were from not having someone to want to do it with. I mean we all went through that right? The practicality is a bit messy but it's made oh so right by the feelings :)

As to setting it so soon after their kiss, I think that they were so close beforehand that not much in their daily life would have changed. The implications, meaning and possibility associated with heir interactions on a day-to-day basis though? Definitely changed. Hence the decision to do the whole fic without dialogue.

Oh and passing notes... Yeah take THAT sexting :)

you know what, that was almost an unintentional aspect of the fic - it was only part way through writing it that i realised there was a "freedom" aspect to it - but I'm glad you saw it too.

Haha I did almost feel I could keep writing, but it would gave got rambly, and I'm usually such a dialogue writer it was KILLING me to restrain myself and keep it in the mood of the song.

I love empowered!Kurt. I think he's the real Kurt and wish we could see into him in such a positive way as this more often.

This is more perfect than I could ever imagine. It's the beginning of things I saw on Kurt's face as they surged towards that second kiss but I adore where you set this in time when their feelings are so intoxicated. Utterly delicious! The notes are adorable, dorky, special and them. And major kudoes for so much lush sensuality without any smut. It feels totally in character for where they were between the first kiss and Regionals.
