SQUEE POST!! My Hurricane Sandy Art from Twisted_Slinky

Dec 16, 2012 13:55

I won art from twisted_slinky in spn_bigpretzel's Hurricane Sandy Relief Auction. I asked her if she'd do some for the second story I ever wrote, a Buffy/Supernatural crossover called Take the Long Way Home. She did TWO pieces for me and they're both awesome. I also owe her so much for giving me such great feedback when I was writing that story, because it is so terrifying ( Read more... )

We're not sitting in some French cafe wearing a beret, sipping some fancy coffee, and chain smoking while we finish our "masterpiece".

LOL! I have never worn a beret and if I am anywhere near a cigarette, you might as well hit me in the head with a sledge hammer. It would have the same effect. I feel the same way about my job. If people saw some of the things I did at work, the title "Director" would not seem so glamorous.

That art is amazing. And it reminds me I need to go read part II of your story from the other day...

I can't get anywhere near smoke either as well. On second thought though, I should purchase a beret to clean house in. I think the job of scooping the litterbox would seem so much more deep and layered if I had a beret on... *ponders*

I'm drinking coffee now, but hats never look good on me :( I'm probably lucky I didn't live in the 19th century, I'd look ridiculous and I'd pass out all the time. The back of my wedding dress was a corset. OMFG! Pretty, but now I understand why women were considered such wilting flowers in those days :P
