Struggling

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Mine is 91, still lives in her own home - alone - and won't have any help. It's a tremendous worry and, of course, comes just as we're getting older and starting to fall apart ourselves.

Thanks for your comforting words. This too shall pass. I just hope I don't pass along with it. Seriously, I'm going to work on my attitude. Grumpiness seldom helps the situation which is why I love LJ. I can let it all out without hurting people.

Thanks so much for your best wishes. Complaining to my LJ friends is a comfort when I'm upset.

My mother lives with me and we're very close. Tomorrow we'll see the doctor for a follow-up visit. I've been so lucky to have her in good health for so long. Hopefully, she'll get better again. This scare has reminded me to make hay while the sun shines. Maybe this wake-up call will turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
