I really like this fic, although unhappy ending is not my thing. You've written a great dark!Harry, but, I wonder if Harry really thinks that their relationship was a mistake? somehow I really, really doubt it
Great story! Thank you for sharing :D

It was never going to be a happy ending as one of the parameters of the story was that each chapter was going to be just as JKR laid it out, only with a slashy Draco point of view. So, in the epilogue, Harry went his way and Draco went his.
Yeah, I think Harry thinks it was more of an interesting opportunity to be powerful over someone as others had been powerful over him.

You definitely told the story you wanted, love, and it turned out so beautiful in my opinion. Oh, yes... I want to slap Harry into next week and scream, "How dare you?!" But I also want to grab Draco and shield him from all the hurts of the world. So, this is truly a job well done! I love this, and you wrote it so well! Thank you for taking me on this ride with you! I enjoyed every second of it!!
*smothers you* =^;^=

There are so many stories where Draco is brave or strong or innately knew Harry's story without any objection and I always find that hard to swallow. Draco was raised a certain way and people tended to want to think that his perspective was the one we read in the book, which it's not.
Someone had to see that Draco had his own set of pressures. He couldn't understand why Harry, who was protected by Dumbledore, the Ministry, and the Order of the Phoenix was complaining so much, while all he had was his parents, who weren't too protective of him and in fact kind of used him, especially in books 6 and 7.
Plus, I was just itching to use that poem and I had to write all those 'filler' chapters to get here! :P

Poor Draco, it seems that things didn't go his way.
