That is interesting! I wonder how she presented it and what she's using as her framework. I know a number of departments are taking fanfic very seriously these days.

I know lots of cult stud/communications/literary studies programs are taking fans and fanfic seriously these days, but this is the first I've heard of a work of fanfiction itself being proposed as an MFA thesis in a creative writing program, and I still don't quite believe it ...
