Hey 27 isn't so bad, remember I'm one year behind ya. So if you feel old then I feel old so cut it out! We're still young and youthful :) Can't wait for the present picspam. Which reminds me that I never did get around to doing mine. I'm so lazy!

2. Out of all those movies you've seen I've seen STARDUST, HANCOCK, HULK & SATC. Loved SEX, except as you said sometimes corny and what the hell with the Miranda and the "ghetto black/minority/poor" neighborhood scene? Totally uncalled for and I didn't appreciate that bit. HULK was good, I heard IRONMAN was better?? Haven't seen it. Don't ask why movie titles are in CAPS. B/C I DON'T KNOW! Lol. STARDUST was awesome, it turned out to be one of those feel good about life and love movies that I just adore! I wasn't expecting that :) HANCOCK was okay, a bit TOO corny at times but it redeemed it's self in the overall storyline. I've yet to watch INDIE.

OMG. I thought the same thing about the ending! I was so annoyed that the whole fight was built up and then nothing happened...As you said, I was hoping the series would go out with a bang! And I totally contrasted it with Harry Potter too when I was talking to someone about it. I think the ending would have been ten times more interesting and exciting if she had killed off at least one character!

YES! What made it sooooo bad, ultimately, was the build-up. And not just in BD but from previous books with regards to the Vulturi being so threatened by the Cullens and coveting their abilities! I mean what the hell she couldn't even kill off some of the newly introduced vampires?? C'mon! It was such a serious cop out. Who asked her to wrap everything up in a neat little bow?? Life is so not like that, especially not Bella's always accidental-life-or-death prone life. Give me a break!

I decided NOT to buy BD because I heard so many bad things about it, and reading this, I must say that I don't regret it *lol*. Especially because I think that Book 2 and 3 are both disappointing anyway, and only Twilight is worth it.
But you're right about J.K. Rowling willing to sacrifice characters. For cryin' out loud, she killed Hedwig!! Isn't that one of the cruelest things!
Happy Belated birthday! I wish I was artistic enough to make you some art like you did for me! I have been thinking about you though, and hoping things were ok! It's been so long since you were on LJ!
