I went and watched the movies today also. I too was not impressed. It seemed like a rather long episode...I mean they dragged it out. I was hoping for something a bit more exciting. I don't want aliens popping up everywhere or Mulder finding his sister finnaly bu- Well him finding his sister would be an interesting story all on its own, and possibly a sad one. I'm afraid I have to say the only part that I was really into was the George Bush scene. That was genius. I found myself fighting back tears. At any rate, I still like the X-Files, but that movie did disappoint to a degree.

Yes, exactly. About half-way through I kept checking my imaginary watch. It would have made a better (hour long) episode. *sigh* But still, I'm glad I saw it, and that it was even made.

The George Bush scene was funny. I *heart* it. :D

Indeed. Though I'm more happy about the fact that I didn't pay to see it. Man its good know people who work at movie theaters.

I thought I'd heard Mitch's voice on one of the commercials so I was hoping he'd show up! And when he did I squealed in the theater! lol Then died laughing as he was holding Mulder much in the same way that Scully did in FTF.

You're right; it's a good movie, it's just not a GREAT movie. But it didn't suck!! I'm SO glad it didn't suck!! And I so loved seeing the two of them in action, and showing their romantic sides was very cute.

LOL It reminded me of 'Detour'. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take it as a joke or tender male bonding. So I was torn between laughing and 'aww'ing.

Oh, it so didn't suck. It was kind of creepy, too. Did you know there was a real life doctor who did those experiments? :(
