I'm amazed so much hate towards homosexuality could come from one of my best friends, simply because of her faith.

I want to brush it aside, and let 15 years of friendship grow, but how can you grow when only one of you remains the same, and unable to see past a book, and really look

I feel ya. When I meet people who are perfectly wonderful in any other way except for a certain topic, I can't help but go D: I know I should respect their opinion but on the other hand, I can't help but be flabbergasted by how people can be against certain things. Sometimes I feel awful because I'd say something like "We should respect someone's belief/choice/lifestyle/etc etc" and then I get all mad when someone says "so-and-so is going to hell/they suck/etc".

And tbh, I don't understand religious people much, especially when they just blindly believe.

I think we should respect someones lifestyle or beliefs if they are not hateful. I respect Christianity and religion for what they are, but when it comes down to old school racism, and women being flogged for learning how to write, makes me sick.
