The past few days, I've seen so many people I care about, both in my RL and my friends here on LJ, both groups of people that are of equal importance to me, upset or hurt over things. This makes me feel like I'm not the friend I should be, that I'm not doing enough to try and help you guys in whatever way I can

We've all got our demons to fight. I appreciate your concern and at the same time, comin' out like this is pretty commendable. I know you told me some while back that if you didn't say anything at the time, it's cause you didn't think there was anything you could do. So I understand that. Few things suck harder than feeling powerless. And then you get some people that always try to think of something to say, no matter what. On the lame end of that spectrum, ya get me spouting my optimistic one-liners like some kinda mantra. And yet, that's just how I roll -I can actually say I'm proud of that
