I'm terrified of clowns. No clown parade thank you! I don't care what cause they're supporting, no clowns kthnxbai.
So, I have alot to post about, so I suppose I should put it under a cut, ha ha!
So, this last weekend me and Nicole with her dad went to their cabin out in Granit Falls. It was sooo beautiful out there! Their cabin is in a nice little cluster of trees and neat neighbors with the river as their backyard. It was my second time there, the first time was in the winter when they first bought it and since then they've done alot of remodeling and it looks so much different! I love it, but it's not done yet, so I can't wait to see it finished.
We went up Friday, and took the highway instead of the freeway, so the drive had lots more scenery (and construction), but an enjoyable ride. When we got there we ate chicken and jo-jos and then went swimming. The river was actually really low so we had to walk quite a bit to get to the actual water, but OMG! It felt so good! The river and the cabin is at the base of some mountains and believe me, mountain weather is weeeeeird, ha ha! It's so spontaneous. It was hot and sunny all day, then there was a thunder/lightning storm later in the day and then rain, lol! We decided to wade across the river (before the storm) to see this cabin that this guy was building in the woods, but my balance in water is pretty much non-existant so I got pretty wet on the way over. The cabin was still being built and there was a single wide trailer that was caved in from the snow that winter, but the whole area was really eerie. On the way back across the river (after sitting on the bank and watching the lightning for a bit), I fell in the river completely. And then Nicole did. And her dad just laughed at the both of us so when we finally reached the other side, we hugged him on all sides and got him, wet, lol! On Saturday we climbed a mountain (LITERALLY). Thanks to my six months of working out regularly, it was an easy hike for me, but Nicole and her dad are out of shape, ha ha! It was a good hike though, very hot. It rained on us twice for a little bit, but thats mountain weather again. When we got back to the cabin we ate and I passed out in the room for like, half an hour. When I woke up Nicole's mom was there and we went swimming again. The water was a bit colder than Friday but it felt so nice! Nicole's aunt came up for a quick visit with her youngest son, her new boyfriend and his daughter. It was nice to visit with her for a bit, and her new bf seems really neat. And on Sunday we went home.
It was a good weekend, I'm glad I took a break from the city, and internet and phone and yeah. It was nice to forget for a weekend, lol!
Okay, so, my CBB skirt came in yesterday (omg, I'm in love with it!), and my purse and socks came in friday before I left, so, yay! I'm a chronic shopaholic and so instead of being frugal and super saving, I've decided to buy blue Secret Shop Tea Party shoes to match my skirt better. I mean, my pink shoes match it too, but they're a size too small and I've wanted the blue since march, so I felt entitled ^^; And AP has a pink convertable blouse I really want too, and I do need another blouse. I still have to pay for my other pink shoes I preordered last month @_@ Well the end of the month is soon, and Per Capida moneys will be coming, so my credit card will get a good dent in it again. I really want this next print, so I really need to break down and save (which I really struggle with). I read somewhere that people who are born poor usually spend like crazy when given large sums of money. Not like I'm trying to justify my reckless spending, but it helps knowing I'm not the only person bad with money, heh. Anyway, I'm digressing! I still don't have the photos from the shoot, but they'll be posted when I do get them, no worries :3 But yeah, I really want to see more pics of teh Bambi Border print, because the video of the fashion show didn't do the print justice and I couldn't really make out the print too well. Though, it does look like it has an army of Bambis along the edge (though not as army as the CBB print, lol). Baby, the Stars Shine Bright has a really cute print coming out too. Smae with Alice and The Pirates, but AaTP doesn't really make me friendly sizes. And they got this neat circus print coming out! Lol, I was jsut talkign about how clowns are scary and here I am wanting a circus print XD
Okay, health stuffs. My knees are in the best shape they've ever been since my injury. The hurt a little bit on the hike, but only at the mountain peak where the wind was really cold, and the cold got into my knees. But other than that, they've been in good shape! My back is another story. It's been a bit stiff and sore. I had to take my horse pills of anti-inflamitories last week which set it straight a bit, but still. I thought I was past all this garbage. But then again, my spine is in two seperate pieces so I can't be too suprised by the uncomfortable-ness. Tendonitis is good, though my neck has been a bit stiff, but I think that stems from my back. No headaches or stomach issues (except yesterday, but I think that was because of the heat @_@). I lost two pounds, but gained thm back. I hope this isn't a prelude to the epic unexplained weight loss I suffer from time to time. The last time I lost 20lbs in a week. That is really unhealthy, and I have no idea why! I mean, I've started eatting more regularly these last six months because of my metabolizim boosted (though its always been high), where as before I'd eat maybe twice a day. SO, I don't know. I can't really afford to go to the doctor right now. I hope it will sort itself out. I've started drinking this China Slim Tea to help out with my cardio (I am so sick of my pudge). I drive Nicole and my other friends crazy because I'm thin (healthy, they put it), but I have this annoying pudge from my pre-teen years still! I'm almost 21! Anyway, I've started running and working out everyday again. Yay, for being healthy!
So, I haven't drawn in, oh, I can't even remember! I finished the sketches for the two contests I entered on dA, but my skills have suffered! I showed my dad and he was like 'They have little doll legs' and I was like 'I know, my anatomy skills need work' and he was like 'He put so much detail into the dress that blah blah blah' and yeah. He needs to draw more, ha ha! Of course my mom is like 'OMG, I love it!' I've decided if anyone gives me crap, I'm just going to pull the Cezzane card, lol! Anyway, I've also started coloring my second Kaya fanart too. Oh, and no worries Kuni! I'll start you picture today :3
Aaaaand, what else? Oh! Yesterday I went to Nicole's to have her brother help me with my walkthroughs. What a disaster that was, lol! I'm pretty much doomed to play on a tiny screen, unless Lee can tell me another way to record that isn't a VGA connection. Ugh, this is so frustrating! Though, Zach did give me some good advice on how to sync my videos with my voice, so it wasn't all bad. His birthday is Wednesday (he's 2-weeks older than me).
Well, I better go eat breakfast, finish my work out, call my brother and jump in the shower.
