There is, as you know, a general election in just over a week. I hope you all intend to use your vote - democracy is a beautiful thing &c. This is as much for my benefit as it is everyone elses: I wanted at least to bother reading the other parties' manifestos to remind myself why I'll always vote Lib Dem. Since the Lib Dems finally got round to putting something through my door today, I guess it's time to open up the Envelope of Democracy (otherwise known as "I've got a postal vote because of the screwy hours I used to work") and see what I have to do to vote...

*sigh* Wish me luck, I live in Henley constituency, which is Boris Johnson territory. Labour aren't even trying in our area, their candidate is from Glasgow! Mind you, he's the only one I've seen out & about. He came & hung round outside Waitrose last week or so. Bless.

Thus endeth my little political commentary. Apologies for putting it here, it's just I know that if I post anything even vaguely political in my own LJ, it'll get jumped on immediately - and not in a good way...
