After most of the day had gone by quietly yesterday my roommate Naan's sociopath ex decided to invite himself over.
I have a problem with him, a justified problem. She me forgive him time after time for missing a sensitivity chip but I don't. The latest of his antics came a few weeks ago after they had broken up yet again. He had one of her sweaters

Probably best not to get involved. Although if him being there makes you uncomfortable, I'd say you are within your rights to ask that he doesn't around. Say you'd rather they took it elsewhere if they really have to as you don't want any part of it.

I know what it's like to have a sociopathic ex and love him beyond all logic. Not fun, but she'll learn from it one way or another. I also agree that you should stand back and let it happen. None of my friends' attempts to speak sense into me worked and it just led to unecessary resentment (from their end, usually).
