it seems a bit snobby (?) but I'll try. but maybe I'm just too self-deprecating to feel like I could hang with "cool kids".

btw, do they accept new members? I mean, I might not be ^~~^cool^~~^ enough, even though I seem to fill their criteria and have already planned quite a nice post for them... *shrug*

Well, I don't think it's a very snobby place:) Everyone I've met through it has been lovely:) In fact, I'm good friends with one of the moderators and she is one of the nicest people I know on LJ if that's any indication of the people who are on there. I recommended it to you because it's one of the last "alive" communities of this kind:) Definitely post your entry! I think you'll be suprised:) :)

I don't know of any friending memes going on atm (beyond fandom ones) but any specific kinds of people you would like to add beyond friendly? Like types of entries they post, or...?

basically, interesting, world political maybe, friendly, non-bigoted people who update semi-regularly (at least) and aren't put off with me sometimes being a bit graphic with my illness.

oh and I have one fandom, and that is PERFUME~☆! ^_^

I do have an account there, actually. I guess what I meant was that I'd like to have LJ friends who knows what the bugger is going on in the world, you know... -_-
