That's actually already a WIP on the first post. (Not involving Mandelson, though, sorry, it appears to be going Clameron. :P And I do hope authoranon hasn't abandoned us completely, because I want to know what happens next.)

Nick had been avoiding him. This hadn’t surprised Peter and he’d made no overly obvious attempts to talk to Nick or catch his eyes across a room, as Nick was obviously trying to avoid both. Peter knew there was nothing he could do about this situation. He just hoped this awkwardness would not be a permanent thing ( ... )

The sight of Nick looking miserable was so unbearable that it broke through Peter’s thin wall of composure and he moved forward to kiss Nick. There was no way he would find the willpower to let go of Nick’s delicious taste and touch again now, he realized, as their bodies shifted back into the embrace they had held a moment ago. Bodies and hands hesitated less than minds did and found their way under shirts and fiddled with belts. Nick had one leg on each side of Peter’s left leg and was pressing his erection against it. Peter’s mouth moved to Nick’s neck - which in their current position was easier to reach than the taller man’s mouth. Nick moaned as he felt Peter’s tongue trail over his neck. He had his eyes closed and his hand was undoing the buttons of Peter’s shirt when he felt Peter’s leg press against him, and found himself half speaking, half moaning ( ... )
