"Today is born the seventh one
Born of woman the seventh son
And he in turn of a seventh son
He has the power to heal
He has the gift of the second sight
He is the chosen one
So it shall be written
So it shall be done"

You might've guessed it: We are on the 7th prompt post. Hurray!
And although seven is "the most magical number there is", the rules for ( Read more... )

copyright: my disturbing but awesome dream

The government has been deposed by militant someones [nationalists/communists/godsquaddies/etc...], and civil liberties are curtailed to North Korean levels. The remnants of the coalition lead an underground resistance movement, soon joined by the last of Labour.

Intelligence must be gathered, coded messages delivered, captured allies liberated, etc - but the police state is brutally ever-present, and some have been broken already. Nick Clegg shivers alone in a corner of the safe house, eyes blank. Ed Miliband has become ruthless to the point of inhuman since his brother disappeared. Danny Alexander, convinced their days are numbered, has become a nihilistic womaniser. And no one has seen or heard of Cameron or Osborne for weeks.

Any/all ships/characters welcome, gritty life-is-bleak-let's-comfort-shag bunkage encouraged, hopeful/optimistic ending preferred :)

Like, um, maybe as opposition leader Ed was taken to safety and David lost that privilege when he left the front bench? And so on top of everything Ed is consumed with guilt?

Dystopian Milibros, I would so be into that shit.

OP would totally be down with frontbenchers making it to safety whilst backbenchers don't, with all the Milibrosian angst that would ensue :)

Totally not plotting a fill in my head. Goddammit, anon, you have WIPs to consider!

Bunny is nomming cookies like mad. It now has Tim Farron the rogue backbencher who wants vengeance on the frontbench resistance for leaving him and his colleagues to die, and is currently mulling over who would end up leading the resistance, with Cam gone, Clegg out of action, and EMil being all crazycakes (TMay? Gove? Harman?). And I'm being tormented by images of Balls & Cooper kissing in the ruins of an abandoned housing estate.

...I think at this stage, resisting the bunnies is probably futile.

This idea is made of awesome and I thoroughly approve :D

I kinda figured it would be BAMF!Bercow, or the Beast of Bolsover, or the holy trinityPaddy&Charlie&Ming, or maybe even unexpectedbaddass!JohnMajor... but that's totes up to you :)

You know, I think badass!JohnMajor is fully the weirdest thing that's been suggested on the meme in all its six months. I salute you, anon!

The BEAST. Now there's a terrifying thought, though. Not sure he's subtle enough to do espionage, though. Paddy, yes. Bercow, possibly. But I think Skinner's more a blunt instrument kind of guy.

Welcome to my brain, anon O_O for some reason I can totally see him going all John McClane when the shit hits the fan... *salutes you back*

I hate to tell you this but I have few lines but I do have this one: I am NOT writing about John Major. So, um, sorry about that?

The bunnies are still proliferating, and keep giving me tantalising tidbits: Tim F rescuing Sadiq (arrested trying to save DMil for Ed), DLaws's contact in the resistance being Liam Byrne ('Why is it always *you* sending me notes?'), Theresa May as courier...

Unfortunately, what they're not providing me with is any plot. Which might prove to be something of a problem.

Apology accepted - OP!anon acknowledges hir weirdness and that JM is somewhat of an aquired taste... *seeks therapy*

Love your ideas so far! My only idea plot-wise was the rescue of DMil, DCam and Gids - maybe the others realise that getting them back is the only way to bring Nick, Danny and EMil back to their senses, so all of them can lead the resistance to victory? And the post-reuniting happy-glow-sex that ensues ¬_¬ *offers sketchy and possibly cliche ideas to bunnies*

I have a plot, which I would like to write for this fill if the other anon can't think of a fill. If they do, I would probably still write it anyway, because so far it's wildly different from the Honourable Anon's plot bunnies above.

May I share it with you?

OP would be delighted with any and all fills, whichever direction they go in! I'd love if you shared your ideas and I'm so happy you're thinking of filling :)

*pets growing collection of bunnies*
