It wasn’t enough that he’d apologised, it wasn’t enough at all. He’d acted without researching, he’d made Sarah look a fool. If there was anything Sarah hated, it was being made to look a fool. David wasn’t stupid, far from it. You didn’t get this far in The Organisation if you were. Sarah trusted him to act on his own - she trusted few other people. That was why, as soon as he’d heard about Gove, he knew.
John knew as well. John, the “third wheel”. He’d messaged David, in what could be construed as a warning. The three of them headed The Organisation, were viewed as the real masterminds behind anything in the city.
Not bad for three people that had never hit average height, David thought, and he smirked in the mirror.

I was going to ask if Gove found a teddy's head in his bed and realised it was Time to Go, but I don't want to detract from the awesomeness of The Organisation. :D
