In the vein of this: http://lolitics-meme.livejournal.com/5310.html?thread=8012734#t8012734

Ali comes over to visit Petra while Georgie is there, and thus finds out they're together. Far from respecting whatever boundaries they may have, Ali flirts relentlessly with both of them, makes absolutely filthy remarks about what she and Pet used to get up to (see http://lolitics-meme.livejournal.com/6735.html?thread=12892239#t12892239 for inspiration) and even attempting to grope Georgie.

Either i.Pet sees that Georgie is really insecure about it, turns it down and reassures/comforts her lover OR
ii. Georgie succumbs to the idea, and spends the night as the focus of Pet and Ali's very dedicated attentions.

God, I'm so ashamed of how graphic this prompt is. I really shouldn't want this so badly.

That's fucking had it, Petra thinks, and then catches herself out for the Alisonism. Couldn't get with me, can't leave me alone, can't be relied on to just fuck off, can't be relied on to have my back, and then tries to make up for it by belated grand gestures, like “sorry about letting you get career-murdered, here's Charlie's head on a tray.” And now this.

And it's not even as if she really wants me that bad, or she'd be trying to get me by some method known to work, not stupidly throwing her weight around, waving dirty laundry and perving at Georgie. Midlife crisis? Well, if she doesn't already have one, it can be arranged. She gives Georgie an “I've got this” look, and is a little puzzled at Georgie's expression in turn.

You bitch, Georgie thinks, Alison-directed staring contest renewed. You unbelievable bitch. What are you playing at? You can't possibly think this'll get you in bed with anyone. Or get them to confide in you. Or does it work for you? Cause I'm fairly sure the “I'll show her” thing's got elements of “thinks I'm ( ... )

How does someone manage to be so blunt and so fucking devious all in one go? And what's the “Pet doubles as a boy” stuff thrown in for? Oh. Oh, for fuck's sake, they didn't. With Pet as the “boy”?

That's an arresting thought in the mind of Georgie, anon. I think I may dwell on that a little. I also like the blunt/devious interface, Ali hiding her intelligence behind belligerance. Thumping the table whilst being in possession of a cunning plan sounds like heaven to me. :D

In case any help should be needed on the dwelling on that thought front, a fair bit of dwelling was done at http://lolitics-meme.livejournal.com/6735.html?thread=12892239#t12892239. Just in case.

“I think you might have missed the bit where we didn't agree to one in the first place,” Petra points out, with an air of patient reasonableness.

“So it is 'we' then?” Ali says. “Oh, for fuck's sake, I won't tell. And if I wanted to, you denying it wouldn't be much of an obstacle. Oh, don't look at me like that, or I'll be tempted to start saying things like [exaggerated villain mode] 'Of course, I could be persuaded to keep silent ( ... )

“I like you,” Ali announces, with slightly too much of an air of conferring a favour for Georgie's liking.

“Big of you,” she snorts.

“Okay,” she says, trying to pull her thoughts together, also as far as deciding which of them it's likely to be a good idea to let Petra directly in on. “Let me see if I've got this right.” She watches Petra carefully as she speaks, trying to do each point separately so she can keep track of what reactions go with what parts of the picture.

“She thinks we're cute.” (Okay, she thinks, Pet's smirking slightly)

“She thinks we're a cute couple.” (Slightly bigger smirk now. That's good ( ... )

“And you said her pouncing wasn't necessary. Or helpful,” Georgie says, carefully.

“Not for my part,” equally carefully.

“If you want to, though...” Georgie says, carefully edging into this bit of uncharted territory, not entirely sure if she's offering a liberty or just checking whether there's a demand for it.

“I don't need to,” Petra says. “And if it would be in the way of us, then no.” Georgie doesn't quite manage to suppress the grin at that, and Petra mirrors it, almost as minutely.

“That doesn't mean you can't,” Petra adds, voice very carefully measured now, “if you want.”

“Oh for fuck's sake,” Georgie says, slightly choked. “And thanks. But I've got priorities. And they're already complicated enough with just working us out. Options to navigate extra complications can wait. Like your friend who apparently thinks sexual harassment is some kind of social echolocation tool, and then Finn ( ... )

I seriously adore the way you have of writing them, great fill.

Thank you, so so much. I love the affection and adoration and slight insecurity behind Petra and Georgie's relationship. I also love their very grudging 'I suppose you could be with other people but it would make me sad' because they want to keep each other so badly, and the mutual 'no, I just want you' that follows.

Is it wrong that I feel a little sorry for Ali?
Anyway, eternal gratitude for the fill <3

Such cautious and wary felines, how carefully they tread!

And yet, how much I cheer them on! And I'm with the OP, feeling sorry for the loudmouth, groping, tactless Ali... and yet I was pleased they saw her off the premises. Great fic, anon!

I figured the door would still be open enough for Ali to try and make her way in again once they're feeling more securely tethered. You know, if necessary. She pretty much ships them now, though, so that should rein her in a bit. But thanks for all comments, and especially happy OP's happy. :D
