Don't hate me, but I honestly tried at one point to like George, and have consistently failed to. I understand that he is rather pretty and makes incredibly cute faces and is a good strategist and seems loyal to Cameron; in my case, it just does not click. My loss, I guess; hence my lukewarm attitude to Camerborne.

That said, the fic so far has been an interesting read, and I've really enjoyed the slightly snappy dialogue. Am not subjectively optimistic as to where the plot will lead to, but am curious.

Well I did say it wouldn't please everyone. ;) But as to whether it's optimistic or not, it depends very much on what you want to happen.

Thanks for reading. :) I always admire people who read pairings that aren't really theirs. Maybe you'll like the Clameron if the Camerborne doesn't work for you.

You may be overestimating me to an extent as I do (still) like 50% of the plot pairings here ;) but as I said, the dialogue really pulled me in.

I also am not much of a fan of the Camerborne... but this fic has me intrigued enough to read it :D

Keep going, AA, I want to see where this is leading... even if I think it's going to end up making me very sad...

Well I love George but I also love Nick so I wouldn't be too pessimistic. It will be angsty but I don't think sad exactly in the way I think you're dreading if you like clameron.
