I'm so very sorry for the lateness of the new post. But this is the first time LJ is working for me again.  I wrote a sonnet for you but is now forever lost in the glitches :(
So no funny business here, I know you want to get back to the usual game ASAP.

There is a substitute on dreamwidth in case LJ is having trouble again.

The usual things:

Inspired by the thread my right honourable friend posted above:

After his experiences in the Bullingdon Club, George Osborne has decided that all Old Etonians are arrogant twats who deserve taking down a peg or two. Then he becomes an MP and is thrown together with David Cameron who is more of an eager puppy than snooty hound. George can't believe that David is really a decent chap. David can't understand why George seems to hate him so much and determines to win him over.

What happens next?

David was only just in time to catch George. He was on his way out of the canteen just as David arrived at the door. Awkward. They stood staring at each other in the middle of the corridor ( ... )

Oh dear... well that didn't go as well as it could have.

Although maybe the shock of it will have knocked some sense into George about the paranoia and prejudice of his actions.

OP - Gosh, that took me by surprise too.

Loving the way you describe their characters- particularly David being baffled at someone not liking him for once. Rings very true.

But now will George change his mind or will he feel he can't do anything now David has let rip at him?

OP: YAY! It's back!

Loved this chapter, authoranon, it has the real Austen touch with the exchange of glances. :)

I hope you use the thread on the new post to tell people when you update by the way.

I usually use the thread when it's been a while since updates, I hope to write a bit more frequently this week. :)

Glad you're seeing the Austeny bits in it, I have P and P in my head as I'm writing. :)

David was once again sitting in the Commons. He was hungry. He told himself that he had no business being there and that if he knew what was good for him, he'd get up, go out, grab a bite to eat and return home and yet there he continued to sit ( ... )
