Besides the usual purpose of the freeze, allowing readers and writers to catch up on fic and prompts, we have two more this time:

1) Livejournal had some trouble with notifications. Here is your opportunity to draw attention to any fics or updates you might have posted lately.

No questions, just a comment --- I'm an authornon who's not been writing almost as all as of late thanks to rl busyness (whereas before I was quite prolific) & I feel quite bad about that.. I can't promise a return but I do miss writing, so maybe if not with this freeze but hopefully the new post will see me get back to writing.

I still read & love the meme. ♥

May I make a general point on "missed fics"? And - sorry - I may be being controversial here.

There's nothing more depressing for a writer to see a prompt that starts ... We don't have any/enough (insert any pairing other than Clameron, Burnballs or Mandelborne) on here! So please can we .... ; when you have a HUGE portfolio of that very pairing. My current particular pairing caught this recently with a prompt that practically exactly replicated something I'd done not in Thread 2, but about a week before on the same thread. (In mitigation, the political situation had replicated itself too, but ... maybe a prompt recognising this ... ???)

In Another Life - the fic about the universe-hopping Yvette Cooper, also starring Ed^2, Bercow, Chris Bryant, and Michael Gove - is now FINISHED. (Its final updates got caught up in the notifications debacle.) Hope you all enjoy it!

But who should put up the notice for the WIP adoption? The authoranon? The OP poster? Or the new author who'd like to give it a spin?

I'm the OP prompter for ye olde malaria!fic here and I have to say, I still hold hope this'll get finished one way or another!

Someone has just requested a wing!fic on meme 14.

Just thought I'd put up the WIP Nick wing!fic from post 2 and ask - is the original aa still around, is this fill likely to be finished, and if not, anyone fancy taking it on?
