You guys know about the dog I posted about earlier? The one that was a basset hound that was in my neighbor's backyard and he would stick his nose in the hole in the fence and I could see his tail wagging and he was cute and nice ( Read more... )

I called 311 yesterday. For now, the basset hound is still there in their backyard exactly the way it has been. The dog has also been really really wet because it's been raining so much. I hope he has at least some kind of shelter. :(

I'm tempted to give the dog some human food, but I'm afraid that it'll just make its stomach upset.

My mom has been really bad about this whole thing. She's upset that I called 311 and she thinks that our neighbors will know that it had to be us that reported them and that they'll "Try to get even with us".
She keeps coming up with these crazy scenarios. "What if they poison Lolly?""What if they burn down our house?"
