Edward felt his heart almost drop, and he quickly stamped on a branch to make a loud noise, hoping that his secret would never be found out.
[20:05] lollipopatrixxx: Mary was in the middle of her sentence when there was a crack of a brance. Ivy didn't reply..she was too busy sitting up with a start and looking around wildly. Her heart about jumped out of her chest.
[20:08] wobblefluff: She gasped, looking around wildly. "Quick. Ivy, go." She hissed, brushing off her dress. Who knows what would've happened if they were caught together.

She wasn't watching where she was going through...and after a moment of sneaking through the gardens tumbled over a stump and right into a rasberry bush. She let out a soft wail of pain as the thorns scratched her up and tore her dress.
[20:11] wobblefluff: Edward slid away to hide behind a tree, panting loudly. That was.... that was so arousing, and he loosened the top button of his shirt. This was.... unprecedented. The sudden wail shocked him, and had Edward moving towards the noise without thinking. "Ivy?" He gasped softly when he saw her crumpled in the bush, stepping closer.

She could feel her stockings rip and one of her shoes came off...still stuck in the clumpy mud. Her arms clung around his neck though and she buried her face against his chest. "I...I...I'm sorry!"
[20:29] wobblefluff: Edward stopped immediately at her cry of pain, shushing her gently. "Shh it'll be okay...." He didn't understand why she was apologising, but cradled her carefully to his chest.
[20:33] lollipopatrixxx: "It hurts." she finally whimpered and tried kicking her legs to get free of the bush. She just knew that her noises would bring the headmistress and she'd be whipped...she was panicking and fear made her thrash frantically. "Oh dear...what have i done?"

Edward held her to his chest, pressing her face into his neck so that she wouldn't see as he freed her legs.

Eventually she let go and tumbled down onto the grass and lay there gasping and sniffling back her tears. She wiped at them..which left a smear of mud on her cheek.

It was punishment for her wickedness with Mary she just knew it. She wi[ed at her eyes again and tried to smooth out her dress..only dirtying it. "Oh no." she whimpered. "Oh I'm in trouble."

She wasn't like Mary...with a rich powerful family. She knew the headmistress didn't like her and her 'new money' family and it made her afraid of yet more punishment...which she couldn't avoid with her dress all ripped. "I'm ok." she insisted. "I promised." she wiggled her foot at him to prove it but that made pains shoot through her.

She tried not to worry to much as he took her to his tiny office behind the classroom. She had never been in there before.... she looked around at the shelves on the walls..openly mystified.

Oh well...it couldn't have lasted she told herself...
